Marsha Leigh Foundation was created with one goal in mind:  Provide an unforgettable experience for families when it matters most.  Marsha Leigh Espeseth is our mother. She fought cancer for 7 years, documenting her journey in a journal.  She wrote about her family, friends, hopes, dreams and her faith.  One of her wishes was to create memories with her family that would last longer than her lifetime.

During the final year of her battle with breast cancer, we had the opportunity to go where every child dreams of going — Walt Disney World!  What a great way to get away from the doctor appointments, lab tests and hospital visits in order to create memories as a family.  We had an amazing experience!  Cancer can take away a life, but it cannot take away the memories you make together and hold in your heart!

Marsha Leigh Espeseth passed away December 21, 1987 at the early age of 34, but not before fulfilling her wish of creating memories that will live on forever.  2017 marked the 30th anniversary of her passing.  We feel extremely blessed to have had the opportunity to create those family memories while she was still with us.

Marsha Leigh Foundation was created to provide the same opportunity for other families going through a similar situation.  We, along with our family, want to keep our mother’s dreams alive.  We want to create an unforgettable experience for families when it matters most!
